We're an independent, owner-managed gift retailer founded in 2003. For over twenty years we've been helping people find gifts that feel genuinely personal and thoughtful — from beautifully crafted personalised keepsakes to memorable Experience Days.Are you part of a larger company?
In 2023 we became part of the Days of Your Life group which is independent and owner-managed by Vicki and Shaun who founded the group over 20 years ago in 2006. The original Founders of The Gift Experience retired and transferred the company to maintain its traditions and ensure continuity.Where are your personalised gifts made?
The majority of our personalised keepsakes are crafted and personalised here in the UK. We have long-established partnerships with many UK companies who do the engraving, embroidering and personalisation. Most are small to medium sized independent businesses.How do you choose which gifts to stock?
Every gift on our site has been selected by us personally. If we wouldn't give it to our own family or friends, it doesn't make the cut. We'd rather offer fewer gifts we genuinely believe in than thousands we don't.What is your customer review rating?
Over 15,000 customers have rated us 4.7 out of 5 over many years. We're proud of that but we don't take it for granted. Every order matters to us. Sometimes things do go wrong but when that does happen we try our best to fix the problem quickly.

It was originally called "The Gift Experience" because the Founders wanted you as the buyer to have a real experience choosing and personalising your ideal gift, rather than just buying something in a few minutes because it's easy and convenient.
